 Brought up in Wales, in a Christian family that were members of a Plymouth Brethren congregation in Cardiff, Paul first studied Dentistry in London. During that time he attended St Helen’s Church, Bishopsgate and was greatly influenced by the ministry of Dick Lucas, David Jackman and the work of the Proclamation Trust. After practicing dentistry over a 10 year period, he began full time paid Christian ministry in the year 2000 following his theological studies at Moore Theological College, Sydney. In 2002 he began as Senior Pastor at Christ The Redeemer Church, Spokane. It’s there that he strives to be a faithful teacher and preacher of God’s word, while seeking to be a good husband and father to his wife Shiona and their four children. Through preaching workshops, in partnership with the Charles Simeon Trust, he encourages pastors to give themselves to the same work of expository preaching.

- 2002 to present: serving as Senior Pastor of Christ The Redeemer Church in Spokane, Washington.
- 2000-2001 Associate Pastor of Highfields Free Church, Cardiff, Wales.
- 1990-2000 Over 10 years Paul worked full time or part time as a dental surgeon in general practice in Scotland and Australia
